When I was a child I lived in both grandparents homes until my parents got stable enough to get an apartment. We lived in three different apartments before we built a house and finished it enough to move in. Plenty of work was yet to be done on the house and seven year old me asked my mother, "When will the house be finished?" She replied, "When you build a house yourself, it is never finished."
A fair point as work on the house has to be done in between employment work, everyday household chores, and family activities. So it is for an amateur website. I could have hired a professional web builder, but why? I do this for my own edification. There's some learning and experimenting for me as well as a means to share some of my hobbies.
This is an ongoing project and just as the sign says on my bedroom door - "This mess is a place."
Incomplete or broken sections of this site will have links like this (strike out) until I get around to finishing.
Stay tuned every now and again and there will be stories, pictures, programs ranging from games to utilities.
For my programmer friends - if you are learning to code, all my code is open source with source code available. Feel free to copy and learn from it. If you ask questions as to why I do things the way I do - sometimes it's clever, sometimes it's because I'm not clever enough to do it a better way. For my more experienced programmer friends - feel free to laugh at my coding. I know I do some things differently from the "standard", but I didn't agree to those standards and I have some valid arguments to present.
